Everyone already knows Clawd. The pixel crab became the internet’s favorite AI mascot almost by accident — posted daily, memed with zero coin attached, asked about, requested as merch. The demand was always there. It just never had a home.
Clawd Frens is that home. A fixed collection of 4,000 unique pixel Clawds on Solana. Generated once. Sealed forever. No more will ever be made. Not another open-ended PFP project — the definitive version of a character the culture already adopted.
Issuance is built for pressure. A unit paid in $CLAWD is split at the contract level: half retired from circulating supply, half escrowed to the distribution pool. A unit paid in SOL funds the project and does neither. Supply tightens as issuance proceeds, so the marginal unit costs more in real terms than the last.
Six layers, 61 hand-drawn traits, one 28×28 grid. Every combination was hashed at generation and the full set fingerprinted before issuance opened — the art was finished before the first unit was sold.
